POP on monday was not as I expected
We didn't cry as much as we thought we would
And it was rushed coz everyone had school the next day
The sec4s did not have a private session of speech and crying in the classroom
We did it altogether in the AVA where everyone was.
So Paiseh
Anywaes we rushed to have lunch and change
Everything was running late and I didnt even finish my presents for my fave people
During the parade...Loads of people were watching and it was really nerve-wrecking
Escpecially when you're on stage
Magdalene was the MC
Proud of her despite her few mistakes
The parade was short and fast...
It wasnt as long as previous years which was awesome and sad at the same time
Awesome coz we didnt have to stand there so long and sad coz it meant we were gonna pass out sooner
When we finally bersurai for the last time,the sec4s did not cry..
Rather we were emotion-less
We just threw our hats and screamed
And then we had the cutting of the cake!
YUMMY YUMMY HUGE GIGANTIC GINORMOUS HUGANTIC CAKE!!!!
And plus!!!!ITS CHOCOLATE!!!!!
Finally our cake came and during our POP
Which made it sweeter!
It was delicious!Yummy!Tummy Filling and all those other good feelings inside
I was probably the first sec4 to cry
Went to AVA for our speech and video
It was sad and fun...
I was the first to cry...
Not really coz I was sad to leave but mostly coz I was nervous
But I managed to joke around and make people laugh
The video was short but nice
I totally 'loved' it
It was awesome but not so awesome coz it was full of my retarded unglam photos
It was ridiculously random
We camwhored and rushed out of school and had dinner with Diyaanah and went home to watch BOYS OVER FLOWERS!!!
Ha!Still had the mood despite the tiredness
SOOO....Congrats to all the new leaders
Hope you do a good job in leading and let me tell you it is not easy and there is bound to have jealousy,hurt and betrayal...Ups and downs,laughter and tears but its the whole learning experience
What is done is done and whatever rank you got...Dont let it get to your head and misuse it
To have a rank is to have responsibility and leadership and you must definitely BE PREPARED for all the things coming at you
Congrats and you can always come to us for help and guidance
Thanks to all those presents you guys gave me and everyone else
It's sweet that you remembered us
Dont forget us ever!

The one I rolled out and everyone gasped in horror

Good evening everyone,my name is Anne Dominique Adre from 4n1.I am the Patrol Leader of SWALLOW(the bird)
I promised myself that I will try my best to make you cry.
And I'm sorry if it's a long speech.I am a very longwinded person and I've got alot of things to say before I cannot say it again...Okay I shall start...
Sigh.(this is the point where I started crying and my words got jumbled up and I pulled Karen beside me)
It's been 4years since I first stepped into Guides.I remember during my sec1 orientation,I wanted to join NPCC so badly but I was persuaded to join GIRL GUIDES instead.Back then,I regrettes so much that I signed my name on the guestbook.I knew I didn't have friends there except Diyaanah whom I've known since pri1.But I wasn't planning on quitting.
During the first activity,the seniors greeted us warmly and tried so hard to keep us entertained.We were brought to one room and Mdm Perema had a 'short' intro to what Guiding life was all about.I'm sure many of us here have been through that.When she told us all those things we were going to learn,I was thinking "Sia la!So many!"(at this point,Mdm Perema was hiding her face)
But it wasn't as bad as I'd imagined.Then after,we introduced ourselves one by one and everyone was shy.Only Diyaanah was daring enogh to be hyper.The seniors also taught us the song 'Titanic'.
It was the first song we learnt and the song went on and on and on.This amkes me think that the 19 of us left are the survivors who have been through a lot just to get to where we are now.From 40 over girls,to just 19 of us.It makes me feel special.
And as of today(27april2009),the 19 of us will be getting off the ship and sailing of to a different direction.The whole Guiding journey has been awesome and very meaningful.Looking back on the journey,we have grown so much together.
From shy sec1s to hyperactive sec4s.Though there were many ups and downs and much more drama than you can find in a movie,I can now look back and smile knowing that my job here is done and now it is time to say GOODBYE!But before I do,I would like to thank everyone who has made my Guiding journey a journey I will never ever forget.
Thank you to all Guides and Guiders and all the sec4s who've made it fun and sweet and to Spallow who have kept me happy and random...
